Before the snow hit Jonathan M. Rogers shared with us:
“The internet seems to think there is an upcoming meeting to decide whether or not the Shaw skate park will be removed and developed. True?”
Council Member Charles Allen replied:
“My hunch is this may be related to conversations about future of Shaw MS site and Mayor’s decision to move Banneker HS to former Shaw Middle School site. But I can tell you that I, and many others, are committed to preserving the skate park and other public uses/amenities.”
