Back by popular demand are icy cocktails and local DC brews, interactive ice activities, live music, and more. Your $10 ticket includes (1) wine or beer upon entry. Following an incredible turnout the past few years, this year’s event will feature a bigger footprint with more opportunities to enjoy the frozen fun, including:

Multiple bars serving cocktails and local DC brews

Live Music

Ice games

Axe Throwing Station

Inflatable Jousting Pit

Food vendors from neighborhood favorites

Live Ice Carving

DC’s largest group shotski attempt

NEW for 2019 — this year Ice Yards and the Polar Bear Plunge will be joining forces to benefit the Special Olympics District of Columbia. Two above- ground swimming pools will be erected at The Yards Park, and participants will “take the plunge” to the cheers of the crowd! To participate, raise at least $100 and receive the commemorative 2019 Polar Plunge t-shirt! Raise even more to receive other cool prizes! To register for the Polar Bear Plunge, click here.”
