Free avocado toast and coffee alert!!

From a press release:

Fruitive officially opens its second Washington D.C. location on Friday, January 25th in DuPont Circle. The 100% plant-based brand celebrates this opening by giving away their best-selling Avocado Herb Toast, made of Flax & Spelt Bread, Avocado, Basil Pesto, Oregano, Sea Salt and Black Pepper and coffee to stave off the winter chill. Free avocado toast and coffee will only be available January 25th from noon and while supplies last.

inside 1330 Connecticut Ave, NW

Guests of Fruitive DuPont can expect an expanded space boasting 1150 sq. ft and 17 seats.

Fruitive DuPont will introduce a more modern and technologically savvy look with eight video screens as menus. Guests will also notice that there is no point-of-sale counter barrier, encouraging a more interactive experience between diners and Fruitive’s enthusiastic staff. Instead, staff will carry around an iPad for monetary transactions. The brand went cashless in 2018 in an effort to expand its sustainable practices, which include utilizing pulp from creating cold-pressed juices to make their wellness shots and doing away with plastic straws.

Fruitive DuPont’s menu will mostly look familiar to Fruitive CityCenterDC fans offering a variety of “liquid meals,” Fruitive’s version of smoothies, superberry bowls, salads, and more with the addition of activated lattes and more coffee options.

“We’re really excited to continue promoting healthy dining in the D.C. market,” says Fruitive founder, Gregg Rozeboom. “DuPont makes our fifth store and we’re happy to give Washingtonians more options to eat plant-based whether they’re devoted vegans or just want to add more fruits and vegetables to their diet.”

Fruitive DuPont Circle is located at 1330 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, D.C. 20036. Fruitive DuPont Circle officially opens Friday, January 25th.”
