“First District Detectives are currently investigating an Unarmed Carjacking which occurred in a rear parking lot in the 1300 Block E Street SE at approximately 8:00 PM Tuesday evening.
A female complainant reported that while removing items from her parked vehicle, a male subject approached from behind and pushed her to the ground. The subject picked up a set of keys dropped by the complainant, started the complainant’s car and drove southbound on 13th Street SE. The complainant sustained a minor injury and was evaluated on scene by DCFEMS Ambulance.
Subject look-out is for an unknown race male, 25-30 years of age, wearing a dark colored hoodie.
The vehicle taken was a black 2012 Acura MDX – DC Tags FW 2045. There is a Washington Nationals (W) US flag sticker in the rear window.
