Update: This was a delayed posting on the yahoo listserve it occurred Friday “12/7 at approximately 1:06 pm”

“Today at approximately 1:07 PM MPD responded to the 4600 block of 5th Street, NW for the sound of gunshots.
Once on the scene, several spent casings were recovered from the roadway.
No injuries or property damage have been reported at this time.
