God Damn It

From MPD:

“Today, at approximately 10:30 a.m., officers from the First District responded to a report of a robbery near the intersection of 20th St NE and C St NE. On the scene, the officers found an elderly female victim who had a vehicle maintenance issue and was pulled over to the side of the road. While she was attempting to get assistance, two juvenile female suspects approached her and appeared to be assisting her. Instead, the suspects assaulted the victim with a chemical defense spray and stole her purse and other personal items.

Due to the specifics of the case, the victim was not able to provide a detailed lookout. Fortunately, the victim did not require medical treatment as a result of the robbery.

The case is being actively investigated by officers and detectives from the First District. If you have any information about the incident, please contact the First District Detectives office at (202) 299-2025, or the Metropolitan Police Department’s Command Information Center at (202) 727-9099.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
