“as of December 24th, Each Peach will no longer be the operators of Lulabelle’s Sweet Shop”

From the owners of Each Peach Market and Pear Plum Cafe:

“We are announcing that as of December 24th, 2018, Each Peach will no longer be the operators of Lulabelle’s Sweet Shop, choosing instead to focus on our other businesses in Mt. Pleasant. For the last year, Lulabelle’s has functioned as a collaboration between Emily Friedberg and Jeanlouise Conaway of Each Peach Market and Pear Plum Cafe in Mt. Pleasant and Julie Wineinger, owner of Willow Fashion. Each Peach was running the coffee and ice cream service, as well as all kitchen operations. “We are sad to leave Upshur Street and have loved getting to know a new neighborhood but ultimately, the logistics of having a kitchen offsite from our primary business location has proved to be difficult to manage.”

Lulabelle’s will close on Dec 24th for the Christmas Holiday and to make some adjustments to the space, and will reopen tentatively on January 8th, 2019.

Julie Wineinger will continue to operate Lulabelle’s Sweet Shop with Taharka Brothers Ice Cream, Lost Sock Coffee, gifts, and candy along with a planned menu expansion in the near future.

Each Peach custom cakes, cupcakes, pastries, sandwiches, salads, and other treats will continue to be available for sale at Each Peach and Pear Plum or by special order anytime. We wish Julie all the best on the future operations of Lulabelle’s, come find us in Mt. Pleasant!”
