Oh my God. The sable, the salmon – DO NOT sleep on the Salmon BLT – perhaps the best seafood sandwich in all Washington D.C. Neopol Savory Smokery is quite possibly the most under-hyped but best seafood in town. They currently have an outpost in Union Market and when I stopped by the new spot on Saturday they looked about ready to open in Georgetown on Grace Street. Grace Street, by the by, has quietly become a phenomenal little street not to be missed, bookmarked by Chaia Tacos and Dog Tag Bakery on one end and Sundevich and Grace Street Coffee on the other with more good stuff in between. Neopol will fit in on the block quite nicely.
