This Saturday There Will Be A Lady Gaga-themed bottomless brunch in Logan Circle

1443 P Street, NW

From a press release:

“Commissary hosts a bottomless Lady Gaga-themed brunch on Saturday, October 6 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. the same weekend Lady Gaga’s much-anticipated film, A Star Is Born, premieres in theaters.

Known for its bottomless Mondays, offering unlimited mimosas and bloody marys for $18, Commissary is making an exception for its popular Popstar brunch series. Lady Gaga is the latest of a legendary lineup that has included Britney Spears, Beyoncé, Sia, and more. That means Lady Gaga’s discography will be the soundtrack for the event and her many incredible music videos and live performances will play on Commissary’s full wall projector throughout the entirety of brunch. The Washington Blade’s 2018 Best of Gay DC “Best Drag Queen” finalist, Desiree Dik will host the event as well as perform live.

Commissary is celebrating its own nomination for “Best Bloody Mary,” “Best Liquid Brunch,” and EatWell DC being nominated as “Best Gay Owned Business,” in The Washington Blade’s annual audience poll.

The menu for #ABrunchIsBorn, created specifically by Chef Madison Han with Gaga’s Little Monsters in mind, features pun-laced dishes like “You & Ice Cream,””Baby, I was Corn this Way,” “Poker ‘Open’ Face Sandwich,” and more. Drinks like, “The Cure,” and “Gypsy Tipsy,” are also on the menu.

Heidi Minora, Commissary’s RAMMY-award winning General Manager says, “We’ve taken drag brunch to the next level and we love how much everyone else has enjoyed this series. We can only hope our costumes and props do her’s justice.”

Guests are encouraged to come dressed in their best Lady Gaga looks. The best costume will win a prize.

Commissary is located at 1443 P Street NW. #ABrunchIsBorn takes place Saturday, October 6 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Reservations can be made on opentable.com.”
