“Assault on Bicyclists – 11th St NW – October 17th”

“Dear PoPville,

There is a group of kids who assaulted at least two bike riders yesterday afternoon on 11th Street NW around 4:10-4:15 pm.

One kid on a moped, another 4 or 5 kids in brown/beige SUV, possibly filming.

Kid on moped smacked me in the back of my head as I was riding my bike on 900 block of 11th Street NW. Kids in the SUV were laughing and talking with the kid on the moped. After I continued heading north I found another cyclist visibly upset at 11th and O St NW. I asked her if she was okay and she said the same thing had just happened to her. Not sure if we were the only two but we notified the police.

Upsetting incident, especially after all the bike accidents that have happened lately. If you have teenagers, please try to instill respect for everyone.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
