“Bar Roubaix, a European street food and cycling-centric neighborhood bar is set to kick off Oktoberfest a week early on Thursday, September 13 at 5 pm with free samples off their new menu including schnitzel, brats, döner kebab and more. The bar, with its newly constructed greenery enclosed patio biergarten will also offer ALL draft beers at $4 from open to close starting this Thursday until October 7.
The bar features rotating taps of local Oktoberfest and imported beers while the menu focuses on the cuisine you would encounter while cycling across Europe, and helmed by chef Rafael Nunez formerly of Busboy and Poets, and Eatonville.
Located at 1400 Irving Street, N.W. above the Columbia Heights Metro, Bar Roubaix opens at 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and at 10:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.”
