Arthur Capper Senior Building Fundraiser Tonight at Mission Navy Yard

“Hi friends! I’m sure you’ve heard about the devastating fire at Arther Capper Senior Building in Navy Yard last week. My friend Emi and I are organizing a fundraiser this Thursday, September 27th from 5pm–10pm at Mission in Navy Yard, and we would like to cordially invite you and your friends to help raise money to assist these seniors meet their immediate needs!

*The event is family friendly until 8:30 pm.

We will be accepting cash, checks, Harris Teeter gift cards, and credit card donations on site, with 100% of donations going directly to the Capitol Hill Community Foundation, who is coordinating and collecting donations for the residents.

After checking in and making your donation, you’ll receive a wristband for certain specials on food and drinks! Beyond the donations, we will also be raffling off various items. Mission will have a specialty cocktail and donate back $2 for each ordered. Furthermore, the first drink will be free for first responders who present their ID!
