“NB Rock Creek Parkway remains closed today. Please avoid NB Pkwy if at all possible- recommend getting off at Virginia Ave. All NB traffic diverted at Mass Ave exit.”

“Engineers from @USDOTFHWA are responding to assess the full extent of the problem. Drivers should expect long delays and closures through at least tonight.”
“Crews evaluating a large pothole on Rock Creek Parkway north of Waterside Dr. 2 northbound lanes diverted onto Waterside Dr. 2 southbound lanes currently open to northbound traffic. Long delays, avoid the area if possible. Be prepared for changing conditions & traffic patterns.”
