Man Shot in LeDroit Park Last Night; Shots Fired around 9:30pm near Petworth Metro

From MPD (sent around 11:30pm):

“The Third District is currently investigating a shooting in the 2100 block of 4th Street NW. An adult male has been transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Anyone with information is asked to call 202-727-9099 or text to 50411.”

and

“On July 31, 2018, at approximately 9:30 pm., patrol units heard several gunshots in the 3700 block of 10th St. N.W. Investigating officers located and recovered several casings.

We are continuing to investigate this matter and if anyone has additional information regarding this incident please call MPD at 202-727-9099. If you haven’t already done so, we encourage you to explore the mayor’s camera rebate program. Information can be found here.”
