Shooting was reported outside Takoma Station around 8:20pm.
Update from MPD:
“On July 14, 2018, at approximately 830 pm, the Metropolitan Police were called to the 6900 block of 4th Street Northwest, for the sounds of gunshots. During the investigation, a male suspect was found with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. This person was later placed under arrest for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon and treated at a local area hospital for his injuries.
The Metropolitan Police are currently looking for a vehicle which was involved in the shooting; this vehicle is believed to be a white in color Mazda 6 sedan.
