“Dear PoPville,

On July 4th approx 7:45pm I was involved in a hit and run accident at Grant Circle in Petworth. I was riding my bike in the bike lane at the circle however a green Jeep with DC plates sped up and cut me off and hit me with his right rear part of his car. I was thrown off my bike and I injured my hands and knees and my bike was severely damaged. The driver saw the accident and quickly drove away. I’m looking for any witness who would like to help and testify. The police arrived at the scene and recorded the case. Currently investigation is pending. I can be reached at [email protected] and 202-858-8613

I would also like to mention a Hispanic immigrant family Martha, her husband, and their kids from Fort Totten for staying there with me the whole time and transported my back home. It gives me hope and comfort to see there are good people in the country on this special day.

I also wanted to thank Shirin and his friend who were on their way to bbq party. They stopped and took photos and called cops for me.

I’m very frustrated and upset to see that driver literally drove away after she hit me. But at the same time I feel so proud of my country and the people because a lot people stopped and helped me in anyway they can when the accident happened.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
