A fun, casual wine and cheese reception held at The Corner Store, 900 South Carolina Avenue SE Washington DC 20003 benefiting VAMOS! – a small powerful non-profit who partners with poor communities in Mexico to provide basic human services in an atmosphere of dignity, respect and love. The exhibit Buscando Luz – Finding Light – features incredible photographs from DC based photographer Thom Goertel. Thom has shot around the world including many VAMOS! locations in Cuernavaca, Mexico. His work has appeared in National Geographic, The Wall Street Journal and many other publications.”
