Unfortunately some sad news out of Adams Morgan. Rosario has closed “effective immediately.” They opened up back in March 2017.
Owner John Andrade says:
“Despite it’s multitude of 4 and 5 star ratings Rosario was just not able to generate enough revenue in the off peak hours to make the concept profitable. We all love this concept dearly but at the end of the day sales are what truly matters. Therefore, I have decided to close doors and prepare to rebrand as a Taqueria, my personal favorite style of food and a concept that I have long wanted to open. After all, who doesn’t like a great margarita? I hope to open within the next few months.”
This is the former Toledo Lounge space (then briefly Libertine.)
