From WMATA:

“Metrorail will remain open an additional hour Monday night for fans attending the Capitals v. Lightning game at CapitalOne Arena.

The $100,000 cost associated with keeping open the 234-mile, 91-station Metrorail system for an additional hour is being funded by Uber.

“Planes, trains, and automobiles – it’s going to take it all to get the Caps a win on Monday and then back to Tampa to close out the series,” said Mayor Muriel Bowser. “The more fans we have out the better, and the more transportation options the better. Thank you, Uber, for helping move our city and this series forward.”
