Delays Continue on Red Line “with single tracking due to warehouse fire near tracks”

“From WMATA’s Twitter an hour ago: “Red Line trains are operating every 6-12 min with single tracking due to warehouse fire near tracks. Crowding conditions possible.”

And about 2 hours ago “Red Line: Due to ongoing fire activity, single tracking continues btwn Silver Spring & Fort Totten w/trains every 12 min Shady Grove-Glenmont + add’l trains Grosvenor-NoMa every 6 min. Rush Hour Promise remains suspended today for Red Line trips; in effect for other lines.”
