Remember the Cyclist Assaulted in February? “US attorney’s office decided not to move forward with the issuance of a warrant to arrest”

Back in February we posted “Thankfully the cyclist had pepper spray”:

“Feb. 19th: I watched a convo between a cyclist in a bike lane on G St and 13th and a driver escalate to him pulling the cyclist off his bike, and beating him up. Thankfully the cyclist had pepper spray, since my screaming at the driver to stop didn’t do anything.”

The victim updates us:

“the US attorney’s office decided not to move forward with the issuance of a warrant to arrest the suspect despite the officer applying for one and having a witness. Good to know that people can assault people in DC and, as long as a camera didn’t catch it, they can simply deny it and walk, even when someone else sees it.”
