From MPD:

“On Thursday, April 26, 2018, at approximately 3:41 p.m., the victim was driving in the area of 4th and I Street, NW. While attempting to navigate traffic conditions, the victim stopped for a signal light which was beginning to change to red. The vehicle behind her began blowing its horn. When the light changed green, the suspect pulled up alongside the right side of the victim’s vehicle and stated, “I could make your day worse” and pointed a silver handgun at the passenger before speeding away.

The suspect vehicle was described as a silver sedan with Virginia license plates and was last seen exiting the 3rd Street tunnel toward Virginia.

The First District Detective’s Office is actively working this case and asks anyone with information to contact the First District Detective’s Office on 202-299-2025 or the Command Information Center on 202-727-9099.”
