Saturday, April 7th “an afternoon of hoppy beers, including old favorites, one-offs, and hard-to-find rare brews”

“HopFest 2018, the only DC beer festival by local brewers, for local brewers, is back for the 4th year in a row to support the DC Brewers’ Guild. Breweries from across the DMV will come together at DC Brau Brewing Company on Saturday, April 7th from 1pm to 5pm for an afternoon of hoppy beers, including old favorites, one-offs, and hard-to-find rare brews.

The $35 HopFest ticket includes a complimentary DC Brewers’ Guild tasting glass with unlimited pours of more than two dozen hop-forward craft brews. Participating breweries include Atlas, DC Brau, Right Proper, 3 Stars, Bluejacket, Calvert, Denizens, District Chophouse, Gordon Biersch, Port City, Adroit Theory, Mad Fox, The Brewer’s Art, Old Ox, Old Bust Head, Manor Hill, Vanish, and more!

Sloppy Mama’s Barbecue truck and other food vendors will be onsite selling food, and DC Brau’s tasting room will be selling full-sized pints, six-packs and growlers. Entertainment will be provided by local musician Reed Appleseed. Guests must be 21 years or older to participate in HopFest 2018.

The DC Brewers’ Guild and the participating breweries strongly discourage drinking and driving. Please designate a sober driver or plan on taking a cab, car-sharing service, or the Metro. The closest Metro stations are the Rhode Island Avenue or Brookland-CUA stops on the Red Line or the B2 Bus. Limited street parking is available on Bladensburg Road.
