Town Hall to Discuss Dockless Bikes Tuesday Night

From an email:

“ANCs 2A, 2B, 2E, and 2F are pleased to announce that they have launched a new website for the upcoming town hall on the District Department of Transportation’s (DDOT) dockless bikeshare demonstration program. The new website can be found here.

The new website includes logistical information for the town hall, including a program agenda, and information on DDOT’s demonstration program, including responses from a pre-town hall survey that was sent to each of the five dockless bikeshare companies operating in DC (Mobike, LimeBike, Jump, Spin, and ofo).

For those who will not be able to attend the town hall or those that would like to note their comments or questions in writing, the website also includes a feedback form. The ANCs encourage community members to use the feedback form to note comments or questions they have regarding DDOT’s demonstration program. Results from the feedback form will be compiled and shared with DDOT and the commissioners on ANCs 2A, 2B, 2E, and 2F (Note: identifying information will not be shared).

As a reminder, the town hall will take place on Tuesday, December 5th at 7:00 pm at the School Without Walls at Francis-Stevens, 2425 N Street NW. There will be an open house with representatives from the five bikeshare companies at 7:00 pm and the town hall will begin at 7:30 pm.

If you have any questions regarding the website or the town hall, please contact Town Hall Co-Chairs William Kennedy Smith ([email protected]) and Joe Gibbons ([email protected]), or ANC 2E Executive Director Peter Sacco ([email protected]).

Sincerely,

Peter Sacco
Executive Director

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
