“Dear PoPville,
LightHouse DC is an incorporated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, founded February 2017 in Washington, DC by nonprofit and community leaders. LightHouse’s mission is to turn empty spaces into homes for homeless or low-income residents who have secured affordable housing. Since starting operations in June 2017, LightHouse has used its unique, collaborative solution to create the stability of a home for 65 individuals — including children, veterans, and families. Unlike any other service in the DC metro area, LightHouse (1) delivers and (2) furnishes for their clients.
