“visiting the DMV to renew every 15 days for the next six months seems like the basis for a Dante-esque sitcom”

“Dear PoPville,

I recently learned that my car is part of the Takata airbag recall, and the estimate for the dealership to receive parts and perform the fix is Spring 2018. While working with the dealer to get a loaner for the interim, I’m trying to foresee any additional issues and take care of them.

In looking at the information available from the DMV, a ROSA exemption doesn’t seem like exactly what I need. A rental car parking permit is an option, but visiting the DMV to renew every 15 days for the next six months seems like the basis for a Dante-esque sitcom.

Has anyone successfully dealt with a similar situation or have any insight into how to work with the DMV on this?

Thanks for any insights!!”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
