“Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District have announced an arrest has been made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred in the 1000 block of Mount Olivet Road, Northeast, on Tuesday, October 24, 2017.
At approximately 12:57 am, the victim was walking at the listed location. The suspect approached the victim and fired a gun at him. The suspect fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
On Tuesday, October 24, 2017, 21-year-old Demondre Greene, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).”
