Just got tweeted Falloween in the Park at Ledroit.

“Saturday at 10 AM
The Park at Ledroit
239 Elm St NW

Join the Friends of the Park at Ledroit, Common Good City Farm, ANC1B, Howard University Hospital and the Ledroit Park Civic Association for the annual fall celebration in the Park at LeDroit.

A celebration of fall and Halloween and our wonderful community!!

This year we will have a “health and wellness” fair and, as last year, we will be joined by our neighbor, Howard University Hospital.

There will music and a special performance by the Experience Band, a brass band that promises a good time! And we will be once again joined by DancePlace’s POP interactive performance collective (the folks with the rainbow parachute). They were a big hit with the kids.

There will also be a kids area with crafts, storytelling, book reading, face painting, and slime making along with a Halloween Costume parade (for human and furry babies!).

Food will be provided by Common Good City Farm.

We are also pleased to share that this year we are dedicating the event to Tricia McCauley, a beloved neighbor who was an integral part of the Park at LeDroit community and both the neighborhoods of Bloomingdale and LeDroit Park. We will have activities and practitioners that reflect her many efforts to help people live a healthy, fulfilling life. Stay tuned for more details!

Join us on October 28th!!!”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
