1336 14th Street, NW

From JINYA:

“We are pleased to announce that JINYA Ramen Bar, a 4,000 square-foot full service, sit-down restaurant, will be opening in Washington D.C.’s Logan Circle at 1336 14th Street NW, Washington, DC on September 25, 2017.

JINYA will kick off its Grand Opening starting at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 25, 2017, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, door prizes and other fun activities throughout the day. In addition, the first 100 guests will be treated to a free bowl of ramen.

JINYA Ramen Bar, a key player in sparking the Ramen movement in Los Angeles, currently has multiple locations across the United States, as well as throughout Canada. This will be the restaurant’s second location in the D.C. Metropolitan area. JINYA Ramen Bar’s flagship east coast restaurant opened in Fairfax’s Mosaic District in June 2016.

“We’re so excited to bring JINYA to D.C. where diners have adventurous and sophisticated worldly palates,” remarked General Manager, Hoang Nguyen. “We, at JINYA, strive to move ramen beyond the tag of a ‘trend’, creating a permanent place for itself in the District.”

Inspired by JINYA founder Tomonori Takahashi’s experiences with both Western and Eastern culture, JINYA Ramen Bar specializes in authentic Tonkotsu ramen boasting bold flavors and a wide variety of customizable options for the American palate. The food preparation process includes simmering the broth for over 12 hours which delivers a robust, flavorful experience.

Patrons can expect a wonderful dining experience, with JINYA Ramen Bar’s expansive menu offering something for everyone. JINYA Ramen Bar offers five broths as well as different tares and oils that alter the flavor profile of each dish. With various noodle types (thin, thick, extra thick and spinach) and over 25 different toppings to play with, guests are able to customize their experience. In addition to Tonkotsu, ramen offerings such as the Wonton Chicken Ramen, Spicy Umami Miso Ramen, Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen, and the “Cha Cha Cha” for garlic lovers are available. Other JINYA favorites also available include Salmon Poke mini tacos, JINYA Bun, Brussels Sprouts Tempura with truffle oil, Takoyaki, JINYA Quinoa Salad, various rice bowls and curry — to name a few. In addition, Chef’s Specials featured at Opening will include Karaage Chicken Ramen and Stuffed Portobello Mushroom. To end the meal on a sweet note, guests may select from dessert offerings such as the Green Tea or Chocolate Mochi Ice Cream, Panna Cotta and Green Tea or Triple Berry White Chocolate BlockPops.

Patrons will be able to pair their dishes with a selection from the beverage program including local craft and Japanese beers; Japanese-inspired cocktails; sake/wine and seasonal, house-made, non-alcoholic beverages. A rotating wine and rotating sake will also be available on tap. Food and Drink Happy hour specials will be served Monday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

JINYA Ramen Bar’s rustic-chic 4,000-square-foot space, designed by LA-based Ikedo Design and D.C.-based Grupo 7, spans two floors and contains seating for up to 100 guests along with a ten-seat full bar and an upstairs patio. The second floor will also be available for private events.

JINYA will be open daily for lunch, dinner, and happy hour (Sunday-Thursday – 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday – 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.).”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
