Keep Your Deplorable Flyers, “Hate has no home here.” and Remember the Hate Crimes Hotline is (202) 727-0500

A reader reports:

“This morning I woke up to find that someone had posted flyers on cars in Takoma DC to warn us of illegal aliens who commit crimes and ponder where we can find sanctuary. Hate has no home here.”

From the Mayor’s Office:

“On behalf of Mayor Bowser, I wanted to share that we are aware of the recent hate/bias flyers that have been distributed and seen through out Ward 4. We want all residents to know this will not be tolerated. We are working and will continue to work with MPD and relevant agencies to address this issue and ensure residents feel safe.

If you see any hateful flyers please do not hesitate to call 911.

Reports can also be made by:

Calling or visiting a Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) district station; or
Calling the Hate Crimes Hotline at (202) 727-0500. Callers may report incidents anonymously. If you leave a contact number, someone will return the call the next business day.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
