The displaced neighbors [8 people from the 200 block of Morgan St, NW] are working with the Red Cross for some short term needs, but in addition a neighbor has started a GoFundMe to bridge some gaps.
A Facebook group has been set up to track progress and help organize other donations and efforts as needed.
And BKK Cookshop on NY Ave is donating 10% of their proceeds next Tuesday, July 25 to help those displaced as well.”
