I was startled when I noticed the restaurant Saturday when I drove by on my way to Point of Rocks. It’s near the junction of 28 and 112– previously known as an outpost of Harris Teeter. Is that Darnestown? Not much there. I’d call it North Potomac or Seneca.

    • Website says: “NOW OPEN IN DARNESTOWN” 14125 Seneca Rd. Darnestown, MD 20874

It’s Darnestown. See PoP’s link to the wiki article about it being a Census-designated place. North Potomac is to the south and east of here. Seneca might be a more granular descriptor, though I haven’t heard many people citing that from this area.

Meh. I went to Bardia’s years ago in Adams Morgan and was not impressed. The so-called Creole sauce tasted like Ragu from a jar.

I am really looking forward to the renovation of the old Bardia building and the addition of Marble Alley (assuming it is still going in there)!

Would love to see more of the townhouses on 18th street get fixed up like this with condos/apts above.
