From a press release:

“On Thursday, May 11, Bar Dupont (1500 New Hampshire Avenue, NW) will kick off its weekly music series “Dupont Live,” showcasing local artists from across the region and ringing in summer with a special new patio menu that includes innovative cocktails and a dozen different rosés.

Each Thursday at Dupont Live, a different surprise musical act from the D.C. metro area will hit the stage for a set from 6:30 to 9:30pm, as the summer concert series returns for another year. And, rather than revealing a calendar of musicians ahead of time, the Dupont Live lineup will be all about the element of surprise with a new unannounced act performing each week.

While the music plays, the drinks will flow from Bar Dupont’s new summer patio menu, which includes creatively refreshing cocktails such as the “Evening Shade,” made with Absolut Elyx Vodka, Villa Sandi Prosecco, house lemon jam, fresh lemon juice and edible gold glitter and the “Green Variety Margarita,” which features El Jimador Tequila, house cardamom syrup, fresh grapefruit juice and fresh lime juice, as well as a rotating mix of local and national beers like Dogfish Head, a Dupont Live series partner.

The new patio menu’s extensive rosé collection curated from around the world is perfect for pairing with briney bites from local Rappahannock Oyster Company. Rosé lovers can choose from 12 different selections on the special menu, from a glass of Charles de Fere from France to a bottle of Pratsch Niederösterreich from Austria. The Irish-owned Bar Dupont prides itself on its global footprint and connection, but will also partner with local breweries and distilleries throughout the summer for unique collaborations.

Dupont Live will take place through July and is free and open to the public. Seating for each concert will be on a first come, first served basis. Large parties can be reserved by calling 202.797.0169.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
