From Megan Griffiths-Ward:
“I’ve called it “The Peeple’s Uprising.” All hats hand knitted, background painted, etc. All my own original work. Sign ideas borrowed from the women’s march, the upcoming science march, the necessary Peep puns, etc. You have to look closely because there is a lot there.”
All entries should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org with ‘The PoP Peep Project’ in the subject line. Please include a brief description about your entry and please include 2 photos, one closeup and one capturing the whole scene. Entries should be based on local topics of interest if possible and sent by Friday, April 28th. Depending on how many I receive, I’ll try to post all as I get them. I will then pick 5-10 finalists that you guys will vote on. I will take the winners out to dinner (courtesy Carmine’s Family Style Italian Restaurant) and drinks (unless the high school kids win, then just dinner.) I will also bury the winners (and 2nd and 3rd place) in PoPville t-shirts. Good luck!!
Closeups after the jump.
