“The bag was recovered by arriving units near the event location.” So they dropped the bag? or threw the empty bag out of the car?

    • textdoc

That’s what I was wondering — was the bag recovered with or without its contents?

      “The evidence remained on scene.”

      • PetworthGuy

        Don’t see that written anywhere…

I was making a joke re: questionable “Descendant remained on scene” verbiage from a murder last week.

          • PetworthGuy

ah – thought it might have been a joke/sarcasm but couldn’t tell. Thought maybe more info had been released. Thank you for clarification lol

Maybe the bag was empty and when they realized it, they dumped it?

    • soozles

maybe it had one of those color bombs that banks toss in when they’re getting robbed or some sort of tracking device.

Holy heck, brought out da choppa

I’m guessing either the check cashing place in the dumpy strip mall or target liquors.

    • Jay Gee

If it really was 5th and Kennedy, then it was almost assuredly the check cashing place. Seems like a great target for an organized group of thieves, except for the traffic challenges inherent to moving around that area.

  • stacksp

Someone had the choppa out in SE about a month ago

      That’s a Krinkov, basically a semi-auto AK “handgun”.

      • stacksp

I see. I looked it up on YouTube and it appears they can be configured fully auto and as a pistol but I agree, it appears he had the pistol version. They are in the AK family, AK-74.

They really do have to pull up their saggy pants as they escape the scene of a murder. I always thought there would be more planning involved. If there was police presence on the scene, there’s no way he could have escaped.

      Sure looks like it!
