Has anyone tried this place yet? How’s the food?

    • b

I’ve been several times and have been pretty impressed with the food.

  • Yumyum

Just went for the first time last night – the food we tried was pretty good (deviled eggs, cheese sticks, pork shnitzel, flatbread). They have a happy hour that runs until 7 as well!

    • Anony

Is that supposed to be a differentiator? Most HH’s I go to run until 7pm

  • gonzo

As a neighbor, I really wanted to like the food. It was really nothing special (deviled eggs) to outright disappointing (cauliflower, short ribs). Nice space. Decent drinks.

    • gonzo

Oh, and I would throw the cheese sticks into in unpalatable category.

  • Anon

As a neighbor who frequents their weekday Small Chop coffee shop, I wonder why they’re charging more and changing coffees. I like the Lost Sock they serve M-F.

  • Egad

Thanks for the input. Sounds like they are still trying to find their groove but I’ll try it out.

  • Bryan

Is there any word on when the Saloon will reopen? If ever?
