I only passed out for 10 minutes after seeing this. Bless you Jim Havard – I’m giving you a PoP Pulitzer for these beauties!

If that cherry tree were in front of a craft cocktail bar, this post would qualify as Peak Popville.

    • And a dog was shitting off leash next to a cyclist who hit a Maryland driver in the bike lane?

        Focus on the positive, Dan!

    Beautiful!

I really don’t use the word “ensconced” enough.

Anyone see the Planet Earth II cities episode? Cool footage of hawks hunting in NYC.

Thanks! In a wooded area just off the Tidal Basin

Is that a red-tailed hawk? If so this is what it sounds like:

What an amazing photo! It would be gorgeous if it were just the hawk. But to see it ensconced in Washington’s own cherry blossoms really makes it special. Nice job!!
