Had to share one more before calling it a day. Because. Just because.

Thanks so much to all who sent photos and messages throughout the day. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to reply to every one but I still have many, many, many more photos to go through and I’ll be posting as many as possible throughout the coming week. I’m awed on many levels.

YES. Now what will we (progressives) do to maintain the momentum?

Presumably argue about whether Debbie Wasserman Shultz had any business marching.

The March for Life in this coming Friday January 27. Hope you carry pics of that. :^)

I hope not. Hate to see those anti-women people invading my hometown every year.

Especially since they exaggerate their numbers. Look at the Women’s March and the official estimates of 500K and how it overwhelmed the city. If you look at the March for Life Wikipedia page, they claim 650K came last year. Yeah, right-o. Funny how the metro never gets overcrowded or RFK Stadium, or how Constitution Ave NE doesn’t become an impromptu parade route (as it did yesterday) because of the overwhelming numbers marching from RFK to the Mall.

Right? The only time I noticed they were in town is when I literally lived on Constitution. Bratty Catholic high schoolers didn’t know how to share a sidewalk. Once I moved to NW I forgot it was still a thing. Otoh I saw pink hats and signs no matter where I went this weekend

Yeah, it never takes over the city. Invariably, I’ll be on the Metro and I’ll see a couple of them with signs and think “oh yeah, that’s this week.” Metro gets more packed for Nats games.

Why should a local blog care about a few hundred out of towners?

    • houseintherear

bruno, why do you read this blog?

      • bruno

LOL. I like most of it :^) This is what democracy looks like, etc etc.
