“From now through Friday, Cleveland Park Wine & Spirits is hosting wine tastings that feature women wine makers, importers and distributors. The owner, Tony, is a neighborhood institution and real lovable quirk. His idea is to be an antidote to the negative political climate in the city.
I visited and picked up a delicious French red to tide me through the inauguration from Jane Reeves, VP of Silver Spring wine importer Comete Wines. It’s made by a woman named Clotilde Davenne. (photo above)
On the 18th from 5:30-8:30pm, all 6 featured women will be pouring 24 different wines. Sounds like a great time!”
