Video of Tuesday’s 11am Armed Armed Robbery in the Liquor Store at 17th and U St, NW

“The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in identifying and locating three persons and a vehicle of interest in reference to an Armed Robbery of an Establishment (Gun) offense that occurred in the 1700 block of U Street, Northwest, on Tuesday, November 26, 2016, at approximately 11:12 am.

Three suspects entered the establishment. One suspect brandished a handgun and demanded US currency. The employee complied and the suspects fled in vehicle. A short time later, the vehicle was recovered.

The persons and vehicle of interest can be seen in this video (above.)

Anyone who has information regarding this case should call police at 202-727-9099. Additionally, information may be submitted to the TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.”
