When The Sonata, in which the subject property is located, and her sister building, Madrigal Lofts, were under construction, there was a sales trailer in a construction parking lot nearby. This was the gritty mid-2000’s, prior to there being a whole lot of new construction or retail in the Mount Vernon Square area.

Inside the sales trailer was a ginormous detailed three-dimensional model of the planned development for the neighborhood, much like you can see today at the PN Hoffman sales center at the waterfront. The area has experienced tremendous revitalization and has realized much of the development that seemed so far away back then.

Although the properties were designed with rough unfinished loft style interiors, both buildings include underground parking garages, luxurious lobbies, elevators, roof decks, and gyms. A number of the top tier units feature exquisite city views and private balconies. Check out this 11th floor unit that is currently under contract here.

The listing agent for this property was Melanie Hayes with TTR Sotheby’s International Realty. Jeff Annis with Jeff Annis Real Estate, LLC assisted the Buyer.
