Does anyone know whether the 15th St cycletrack/Penn Ave in front of the White House are typically blocked off as well for this type of closure?

The cycle track on Penn usually isn’t closed, but there aren’t enough police to stop people from making a u-turn after they have been stuck in traffic for an hour during this event. Just fair warning to be careful.

    • KY Ave

PA Ave in front of the White House is already blocked off (inauguration prep).

  • I wish every traffic announcement had such good use of similes.

WTOP has a list of more road closures: http://wtop.com/dc/2016/11/road-closures-announced-christmas-tree-lighting/

Wishing I had switched my telework day to tomorrow
