“Seems the trash cans in Sherman Circle need emptying. On the good side, an obvious increase in dog owners picking up, but man, that’s a lot of dog…”
Anyone know who picks up the trash in federal parks? Does NPS contract out to a private firm?
UPDATE from the National Park Service:
“Our NPS maintenance crew is scheduled to pick up the trash there this afternoon. They empty the cans and pick up trash at Sherman Circle every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.”
