A reader reports:
“I have no idea how it happened, but someone managed to flip their car on a narrow street in the Navy Yard neighborhood around 10:30pm tonight. The block has stop signs on either end, so this is quite a feat.
As you can see in the attached photo, the roof was cut off; there was apparently a person trapped inside. The street was closed for about an hour and after the car was towed away, the broken glass and scattered possessions were swept into a pile by the curb. Since this block doesn’t have street sweeping, I wonder how long it will stay there.”
DC Fire and EMS reported:
“Accident with entrap 3rd & K St. SE. 1 trapped. Does not appear seriously injured.”
