Thanks to a reader for sending an update on the old Timothy Paul space on 14th in Logan Circle:

Ed. Note: For a hot second we thought the Madewell was going to go here but later found out the old Universal Gear space was much more likely for them.

a gym only temporarily. According to the person unloading boxes a week or so ago, they are the gym (Cut Seven) that is going into the new building at 11th & Rhode Island, which isn’t ready yet.

    It’s Cut Seven fitness. https://www.facebook.com/cutsevenfitness

I’m glad that fitness in general is becoming more and more popular but these types of workouts are truly all blending together. On their facebook page, they are saying: “Cut Seven is a sports conditioning experience driven by the motivation and camaraderie of a team. We focus on a different muscle group each day of the week, ensuring the variety necessary to delivery full-body results.” Motivation and camaraderie is at the heart of Orange Theory, Fly Wheel, every Crossfit gym and others. And as far as focusing on different muscle groups each day…great! that’s fitness 101 and i’d be scared if any gym did not follow that approach.

      why would you be scared?

Would you want to go to an upper body only gym and come out looking like Popeye?

A friend of mine in college only worked out his upper body. He had tiny legs but was jacked. Looked like Johnny Bravo.

As somebody who’s been there, this is a temporary space for the next 2 months while construction is finished on the permanent location at 11/Rhode Island. If you’re into fitness, it’s really worth it to try it out.
