From an email:

“A beloved member of our Annie’s Hardware community has been missing since Saturday. Ariel Espinal, store manager [1240 Upshur Street NW], has been with our company for three years. Ariel’s last known whereabouts were in NW DC around 2pm on October 8. Please take a look at this flyer and spread widely among your own networks. Ariel lived in the Mt. Rainier/Hyattsville area. There is a cash reward for information leading to his whereabouts. Please contact 202-829-3308 with any leads.”

I’m curious, is “Critical” meant to indicate that a person may be in need of medication or that they suffer from a disability?

    • Annie’s Hardware

OP here. No, it is the term the police used with us in a conversation recently, to indicate that long enough has gone by without information, from what I understand.

Page 2 actually describes how MPD defines the term Critical Missing Person:

basically someone who is young, old, vulnerable, or otherwise at an elevated risk.

How about you people forget about correct terms and help finding him instead of just talking things that really at this point are Not Important …….

Oh no, Ariel is the best. Hoping all is alright…
