“On Tuesday, October 25, 2016, the Annual High Heel Race will take place in the District of Columbia. In conjunction with this event, there will be several street closures that motorists should take into consideration.
The following streets will be closed from 6:30 pm to 11:00 pm:
· 17th Street, NW between Riggs Place, NW to P Street, NW – Southbound
· Riggs Place, R Street, Corcoran Street, Q Street, and Church Street, NW (Eastbound and Westbound), between 16th Street NW and 18th Street NW
RACE/WALK ROUTE
The race will start at 9:00 pm. The race will begin at 17th and R Street NW and travel southbound on 17th Street and disband prior to 17th and P Street NW.”
