17th Street’s Annual High Heel Race Returns on Tuesday!!

“On Tuesday, October 25, 2016, the Annual High Heel Race will take place in the District of Columbia. In conjunction with this event, there will be several street closures that motorists should take into consideration.

The following streets will be closed from 6:30 pm to 11:00 pm:

· 17th Street, NW between Riggs Place, NW to P Street, NW – Southbound

· Riggs Place, R Street, Corcoran Street, Q Street, and Church Street, NW (Eastbound and Westbound), between 16th Street NW and 18th Street NW


The race will start at 9:00 pm. The race will begin at 17th and R Street NW and travel southbound on 17th Street and disband prior to 17th and P Street NW.”

    Can’t wait. I’ve gone enough years, so I figured, why not take part this year? Preparation has made me even more sym(em?)pathetic to women…dressing up is a lot of work!
    I also am pretty excited to actually try and win…everyone’s making fun of me for this, but why not, right?
