“Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Youth and Family Services Division, Physical and Sexual Abuse Branch announced an arrest has been made in reference to a Second Degree Child Sexual Abuse offense that occurred in the 3100 block of 14th Street, Northwest, on Sunday, September 25, 2016, at approximately 4:03 pm.
The suspect followed the victim inside a store for approximately 10 minutes and offered her a piece of gum prior to grabbing hold of her. The suspect then grabbed her from behind and sexually assaulted her.
On Sunday, September 25, 2016, 46-year-old Adrian Rendon, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Second Degree Child Sexual Abuse.
Detectives are seeking additional victims that may have come in to contact with the suspect.
Anyone who has information regarding this case or additional cases should call police at 202-727-9099. Additionally, information may be submitted to the TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.”
