“It wasn’t expensive, but it is precious to both of us.”

“Dear PoPville,

My wife was riding the metro (red and green line) yesterday and lost her wedding band. It is very slender (the smaller of the two in this picture), and has Hebrew lettering on the inside.

If anyone finds it they will be greatly rewarded. It wasn’t expensive, but it is precious to both of us.”

Ed. Note: Anyone who may have found it please email [email protected] and I’ll put you in touch with OP thanks.

So – lost ring, engraved script, and precious.

    Nice try, Sauron.

OP, I really hope you find your ring. I like the minimalist designs you chose.

Someone turned in an engagement ring at NPR the other day. Maybe it’s worth checking with them.

Any idea what number to call to check with NPR? I lost my engagement ring a few weeks ago and while it’s unlikely to be this one, I’d still like to check.

not sure where it was lost on the red or green lines, but if there’s a BID in any of the neighborhoods, I’d contact them since their folks are always out in the neighborhood.

  • Lost Something on Metro, too

Just wanted to share my sadness for your loss. I teared up thinking of the loss of either my or my husband’s loss of a wedding band. I really hope you find it. You would be amazed at what we have recovered from Metro. Don’t lose hope. We got back my husband’s wallet off a Metro train . . . all contents intact. My iPhone off a MetroBus. Don’t give up after a few days. Keep checking. Things turn up after people have time to get to Metro Center or other placed where they take things. Hoping you get it back.
