From MPD around 2:30am:

“The Third District is currently on the scene of a double shooting near the skate park at 11th and Q Streets NW. 2 adult males have been transported to area hospitals for treatment.

Anyone with information is asked to call 202-727-9099.”

And

“On 7/25/16, at approximately 0300 AM, officers heard gunshots in the area of 9th & T St., NW. Shell casings were recovered. At this time, no persons were injured and no property was damaged.”

Washington Post reported this shooting was the result of a robbery.

There was a big police presence on the 700 block of Q street last week with the entire block taped off for an hour or two and helicopters with spotlights circling overhead. The MPD tweeted out a robbery, but seemed pretty serious. Hope no one was hurt/they caught the perp, but didn’t see any details. Anyone know what happened?
